Year-Round Golf Course in NC

Sometimes it isn’t enough to play golf only a few months out of the year. Here in North Carolina at River Landing, we offer a year-round golf course so that you can enjoy the game no matter what time of year it is.

Our championship course is playable all year long, thanks to our weather here in North Carolina, you can get away with playing golf for many months out of the year. Although it may get fairly cold during the peak of winter in North Carolina, our course stays open to for avid golfers to enjoy our course.

What is the Weather like in North Carolina?

North Carolina has a fairly long warm season with many months out of the year being a comfortable weather for golf.

Spring in North Carolina is the nicest time of the year to play golf with the weather being between 70-80F from around April to mid June.

The summer months of NC can get quite hot with the peak temperatures being in August reaching over 100 degrees on some days. The mornings and evenings are a great time to golf during the summer months.

Once North Carolina reaches September, temperatures start to return to a comfortable 70 degrees for most of early fall. There will be an occasional day where the temperature slips below 60 degrees but it mostly stays warm for the end of the year. Occasionally, NC will have a 70 degree Christmas day.

The coldest part of the year is January, February, and March where temperatures can get below freezing. The cold months in NC don’t last too long and you can comfortable play golf for most of the year.
