Christmas time is here! As a part of our on-going celebrations, River Landing and Mad Boar held their annual Gingerbread House Decorating Party last Thursday, December 12, 2019.
Our award-winning chef and banquet team prepared authentic houses for 50 different teams to decorate with sweet royal icing as well as providing candies (including peppermint candies, gumdrops, Rice Krispy treat balls, green pixie dust, snow caps, Frosted Mini-Wheats, and assorted size waffle cones), and other decorations! Most guests came equipped with sketches, ideas, candies, and props of their own. It was a night even Pinterest would be jealous of!
In addition to the holiday fun, a selection of hot drinks, hors d’ouvres, and a cash bar were set up throughout the Celtic Court as well.
From toddlers to grandmothers, there was a generous amount of laughter, friendship abounding, gorgeous Gingerbread houses, and ample amounts of friendship to celebrate the holidays in true River Landing fashion.
