Larry George
Director of Hospitality & Club Operations
Larry has been at River Landing since November of 2003.
He started as the Head Professional, promoted to Director of Golf, and then in November of 2018 became the Director of Golf & Hospitality. During his tenure at River Landing, he has won the CPGA Section Championship in 2005, won the 2017 CPGA Players Championship, won 3 CPGA Pro-Assistant Titles, qualified for three PGA Tour events and most recently the 2022 Senior PGA.
He came to River Landing from Echo Farms Golf & Country Club where he spent 5 1/2 years as General Manager. He was Head Golf Professional at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs in 1997 & 1998 after spending 5 years at Landfall Country Club in Wilmington, NC.
In 1990, after attending UNCW, Larry moved to Breckenridge, CO working for Breckenridge Ski Mountain where he met his wife Patty and the following year moved to Estes Park, CO where he started working at Estes Park Golf Course. They were married in 1992 and love to travel whenever their schedules allow to Colorado, Grand Cayman, Dominican Republic, Florida, Scotland and everywhere in between.
They believe in faith, family and friends which you can certainly experience if you spend any time with them.
Marshall Stott
Head Golf Professional
Marshall was born and raised here in North Carolina and has been a golf professional since 2001.
He attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a degree in Parks and Recreation and began working in the golf business in 1997 as a cart attendant and golf shop assistant. Marshall attained his PGA membership in 2001 and has had the pleasure of working at several different facilities as Assistant Professional, Head Golf Professional and General Manger throughout North Carolina before joining the River Landing staff in 2011.
When Marshall is not at work, you can find him with his wife Kris and their two kids, Hollis and Sawyer, at the beach, at the ball fields or relaxing at the house.

Director of Golf Maintenance
Chris H. started working at River Landing in May of 1997 while attending Wayne Community College. He graduated in May of 1998 with his Turfgrass Management degree and was promoted to Assistant Superintendent of the River course.
When River Landing expanded to 36 holes in May 2006 he was promoted to Superintendent of the River course. Chris has been married to his wife, Tina, since 2005 and they have two labradoodles, Mia and Piper, which you may have seen running around chasing the geese.
In his spare time, you’ll find Chris hunting, fishing, and traveling as often as his busy schedule allows!

Chris F. began his career with River Landing in March 1999 as Assistant Superintendent after graduating from Wayne Community College with his Turfgrass Management degree. He was promoted to Superintendent of the Landing course in May of 2006.
He and his wife, Joy, married in 2014 and they have two children, 21 and 18 years, both attending NC State University. Chris loves fishing, boating, cooking, and of course, playing golf!
