Featured in the 2002 major motion picture Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood, this gorgeous Greek Revival plantation is one of the largest antebellum plantation houses in North Carolina. Explore the grounds and the stunning architecture, including Italianate features and a unique floor plan.

Fish, Hike, Paddle, and Swim at Cabin Lake

Head out of town for a day on the lake and enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, boating, and swimming. There are also paddle boats and canoes available for rent on beautiful Cabin Lake, and kids ages five and under are admitted for free.

Learn a Little at the Cowan Museum of History and Science
