Ben.JPG

Chef Ramsey first worked at the Clubhouse as a line cook running the sautée line from 2010-2011. He returned to our team in 2016 as the Banquet Chef.  Since then, he has moved into the position of Director of Culinary Operations.

He currently oversees the overall vision of the dining program at the River Landing Clubhouse as well as the banquet operations for all the venues included in the Village at River Landing. This includes the Clubhouse, the Mad Boar, the Pool, and the River Lodge.  He also manages a total of 13 employees in the kitchen - coaching and training them to present the best dishes possible for our membership and guests.  Lastly, he cooks a lot of food!

Chef Ramsey says he loves working for Murphy Family Ventures because throughout his time working here, he has been able to expand his culinary prowess and sharpen his leadership skills all while delivering the members and guests exceptional service and memorable experiences.

Ben is particularly excited about some new and positive changes taking place in the dining room.  "We have begun to offer more daily specials so there is always something new to try in the dining room."  Fine Dining has also begun in the dining room on Wednesdays and Saturdays and he is excited to help provide this experience to Members.

Chef Ramsey encourages everyone to come to the Clubhouse - Prime Rib Nights are a favorite, as well as the ever changing nightly specials.
