Staff Spotlight: Mills Bryant
Mills first began his career at Murphy Family Ventures working at the pool, Mad Boar Restaurant, and the Holiday Inn Express. He worked here every summer while he was in school so it was only natural that he wanted to come back to begin his full-time career after his college graduation.
He is now the Food and Beverage Accountant for Murphy Family Ventures. His responsibilities include assisting the Director of Hospitality, Julius Wilson, in financial matters of businesses including, the Clubhouse, Village Subs, Village Store, Mad Boar, and Holiday Inn Express.
Mills graduated from Hamden-Sydney College with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Economics and was ready to take on the Food and Beverage Accountant position. He is also currently in the process of earning his MBA!
We asked Mills how working at River Landing has made him grow as an employee and he says that his communication skills have definitely improved as well as finding solutions and understanding needs. His favorite part of his job is the work atmosphere. He enjoys working alongside his fun co-workers.
